AI search optimisation · GEO & AEO
Clear answers. Credible information.
Make your business information and expertise easier to discover, understand and reference in search experiences that use AI. Our approach connects established SEO foundations with useful answers and accurate evidence rather than promising a shortcut into generated responses.

Is this the right
next step?
Businesses wanting to understand how their service information is represented in AI-assisted search and how to improve the clarity and credibility of the pages they control.
What the work covers.
We agree the exact scope before work begins. These workstreams show what can be included and the practical outputs to expect in your proposal.
| Workstream | What we cover | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Question and audience mapping | Identify the detailed questions customers ask while researching, comparing providers or deciding whether a service is suitable. | A prioritised question and intent map. |
| Answer-focused content | Structure useful explanations with clear context, evidence and practical detail, while keeping the page readable for people. | Content briefs or agreed improvements to key pages. |
| Business and source clarity | Review consistent company, service, location and author information; connect claims with genuine experience or reliable supporting sources. | An information consistency and evidence plan. |
| Technical foundations | Review indexing, internal discovery, visible text and appropriate structured data alongside the wider SEO plan. | A prioritised technical and on-page checklist. |
| Representative observation | Agree example questions and review how available AI search experiences present the topic, recording the conditions and limitations. | An indicative observation log, not a guaranteed visibility score. |
| Measurement and refinement | Review relevant search data, identifiable referral traffic and useful enquiries where available, then refine content against real questions. | A measurement plan with clearly stated limits. |
How we deliver the work.
- 01
Establish a baseline
Review the website, priority services, target locations and available search and enquiry data.
- 02
Agree the priorities
Separate urgent technical issues, content opportunities and longer-term work into an achievable plan.
- 03
Implement and review
Check agreed changes, monitor the response and update priorities as evidence develops.
Your proposal sets out the work specific to this product, the people involved, access and content dependencies, review points and any ongoing support.
How we judge progress.
AI answers vary by system, query and context. We distinguish observable referrals and business outcomes from sample checks; an example citation is not proof of consistent visibility.
What shapes the quote.
Research breadth, existing content quality, technical issues and the number of topics determine scope. AI search work overlaps with SEO and content rather than replacing them.
Before starting, we agree the deliverables, responsibilities, schedule, costs, third-party dependencies and any ongoing service. You know which work is included and which needs separate approval.
Questions about
ai search optimisation · geo & aeo.
What do GEO and AEO mean?
GEO usually refers to generative engine optimisation and AEO to answer engine optimisation. We use these terms to describe improving discoverability, clarity and useful answers across relevant search experiences.
Do we need special Google AI markup?
Google says its existing SEO foundations remain relevant for AI Overviews and AI Mode; there is no additional special markup requirement. The work still needs useful content and sound technical foundations.
Can you guarantee a ChatGPT or AI Overview citation?
No. These systems control their responses, and inclusion can change. We explain the work, observe available evidence and avoid guaranteed citation or ranking promises.
