Ecommerce websites
Products worth finding. A shop worth buying from.
An online shop planned around your products, customers and day-to-day operations. We connect product discovery, product information and checkout, then agree how orders, delivery and stock should be handled.
A little more
extraordinary.
Is this the right
next step?
Retailers, makers and product businesses that need to sell online, replace an awkward shop or connect a growing catalogue with a clearer buying experience.
What the work covers.
We agree the exact scope before work begins. These workstreams show what can be included and the practical outputs to expect in your proposal.
| Workstream | What we cover | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Catalogue planning | Organise categories, products, variants and attributes around how customers browse and compare what you sell. | An agreed catalogue and category structure. |
| Product pages | Plan images, descriptions, options, availability and practical buying information. Define who prepares and enters the product data. | Product templates and a scoped data import or entry plan. |
| Basket and checkout | Configure the agreed payment provider and checkout journey, including the important confirmation and failure states. | Tested purchase journeys for the agreed payment methods. |
| Delivery and operational rules | Define shipping areas, delivery options, stock rules and tax configuration with the information supplied by your business and advisers. | Documented shop settings and operational responsibilities. |
| Search and measurement | Build crawlable categories and product pages, with agreed metadata, product data and ecommerce event measurement. | Search foundations and a checked measurement scope. |
| Orders and handover | Test order notifications, refunds or cancellations within scope and show the team how to manage routine shop tasks. | Order workflow checks and operator guidance. |
How we deliver the work.
- 01
Understand the job
Agree audiences, pages, content responsibilities, features and what a useful enquiry or sale looks like.
- 02
Design and build
Review the visual direction, develop the agreed pages and test the important customer journeys.
- 03
Launch and look ahead
Check the live setup, explain the handover and agree any ongoing care or improvement work.
Your proposal sets out the work specific to this product, the people involved, access and content dependencies, review points and any ongoing support.
How we judge progress.
Where measurement is included, we review product journeys, checkout completion, orders and revenue alongside attribution and payment data limitations.
What shapes the quote.
Catalogue size, variants, subscriptions, custom rules, imports and system integrations affect cost. Platform, app, payment processing and shipping fees are separate third-party items.
Before starting, we agree the deliverables, responsibilities, schedule, costs, third-party dependencies and any ongoing service. You know which work is included and which needs separate approval.
Questions about
ecommerce websites.
Which ecommerce platform will you use?
We assess the catalogue, required features, editing needs and existing systems before recommending an approach. We do not assume one platform fits every shop.
Can you move products from an existing shop?
Yes, subject to data access and a migration plan. We agree which products, images, customers, orders and URLs can be transferred and test a sample first.
Do you provide product photography?
Photography, video and large-scale product data entry are separately agreed requirements. We can work with suitable material you supply and identify any gaps during planning.
