Website redesign
Keep what works. Make the next chapter better.
A considered refresh for a website that no longer reflects your business. We review the existing content, customer journeys and search foundations before deciding what to keep, improve or replace.
A little more
extraordinary.
Is this the right
next step?
Established businesses with outdated presentation, confusing pages, changing services or a website that is difficult for customers or staff to use.
What the work covers.
We agree the exact scope before work begins. These workstreams show what can be included and the practical outputs to expect in your proposal.
| Workstream | What we cover | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Existing-site review | Understand the current pages, functionality, available analytics and the problems the redesign needs to solve. | A review of priorities and material to retain. |
| New structure and message | Plan the revised service structure, navigation and content around the customers and work you now want to reach. | An agreed page map and content responsibilities. |
| Visual direction | Refresh layout, typography, colour and imagery while retaining useful brand recognition. | A reviewed design direction and key page layouts. |
| Content and feature transfer | Identify the pages, files, forms and other functions that need to move into the new build. | A scoped migration inventory and transfer plan. |
| Search continuity | Map important old URLs to appropriate new pages and check indexing controls, internal links and metadata. | Redirect mapping and launch SEO checks within scope. |
| Launch and follow-up | Test key journeys and agree launch checks, monitoring and ownership of issues identified after release. | A launch checklist, handover and follow-up plan. |
How we deliver the work.
- 01
Understand the job
Agree audiences, pages, content responsibilities, features and what a useful enquiry or sale looks like.
- 02
Design and build
Review the visual direction, develop the agreed pages and test the important customer journeys.
- 03
Launch and look ahead
Check the live setup, explain the handover and agree any ongoing care or improvement work.
Your proposal sets out the work specific to this product, the people involved, access and content dependencies, review points and any ongoing support.
How we judge progress.
We can compare key journeys, enquiry quality and agreed search indicators before and after launch. A redesign cannot guarantee stable rankings or an uplift in conversions.
What shapes the quote.
The number of retained pages, content rewriting, platform changes, integrations and migration risks shape the quote. We agree responsibility for hosting and the old website.
Before starting, we agree the deliverables, responsibilities, schedule, costs, third-party dependencies and any ongoing service. You know which work is included and which needs separate approval.
Questions about
website redesign.
Can we keep our existing domain?
Yes, where you control it and the required access is available. Domain, hosting and email dependencies are reviewed before changes are made.
Will a redesign affect our SEO?
It can. We plan content and URL changes carefully, check redirects and indexing, and agree monitoring. Search behaviour can still change after a redesign.
Do we have to replace everything?
No. Useful content, design elements or functions may be retained. The review helps distinguish necessary changes from work that would add little value.
Build the next piece.
